Ruminate on God’s Word this week and meditate on what the Holy Spirit wants to say to you using the following thought-provokers.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego modeled how Jesus' followers can resist the world. Firm, respectful, non-participation. Not withdrawal. They worked for the government. They spoke Babylonian. They dressed like Babylonians but were faithful to God. They resisted while engaging in the nation where they lived as Jeremiah instructed the refugees in Babylon, “Pursue the well-being of the city I have deported you to. Pray to the Lord on its behalf, for when it thrives, you will thrive.” (Jer.29:7)
What might that look like in your life and interactions with family, friends, co-workers, etc.?
