Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17:3 NIV). There is a big difference between simply knowing about God and actually knowing God intimately through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to lead all who come here into that kind of relationship.
Jesus invited His disciples to be with Him, to become like Him, and then do what He would do. We are seeking to become disciples who spend intimate time with Jesus, are becoming like Him in His character, and are actively patterning our everyday lives and sense of purpose as if He was living through us. And we're doing that together.
Every disciple, a disciplemaker. We believe growing disciples will cheerfully serve God and others with the spiritual gifts entrusted to them and reach the spiritually lost by loving them and sharing the good news of Jesus.
"Becoming disciples who make disciples" is not just a tag-line around here. We truly desire to equip every growing believer to know how to lead others to faith in Jesus Christ and then to equip that new believer to grow in intimacy, knowledge, service, and witness. So they can turn around and do the same.
Our church belongs to The Christian and Missionary Alliance, otherwise known as the C&MA or The Alliance. One of the historical characteristics that distinguishes the C&MA from some other evangelical bodies in North America is our compelling concern for reaching the lost world and bringing them into maturity in Christ.
This takes place in the United States and in 96 countries around the world through our highly trained international workers (IWs) who serve via the four structures of Alliance Missions.
