This Psalm embodies the most basic, foundational issue of life. Whose Way will you follow? It’s a gradual, easy path to walk a little bit off God’s Way, then take a stand with others who oppose Him, until you finally find yourself settled into a place of rebellion against God. But it is completely your choice.
Prayerfully consider both paths Psalm 1 describes and make a conscious choice about which trail you will follow.
What might help you delight in and meditate on God’s Word more each day? Whatever works for you, be intentional about recognizing how the Lord’s instruction guides your daily choices.
