Women's 1 to 1 Discipling
Discipling and Mentoring Ministry

The Women’s 1 to 1 Discipling and Mentoring Ministry at Alliance Church of Elizabethtown aims to help women in our church form discipling and mentoring

relationships that last for three-month intervals, up to a year or longer as the Lord leads. This program is designed to be a springboard for women newer to the church or women who need some guidance in stepping into a more formalized discipling relationship to keep each other on track with Jesus’ call for us to be disciples who makes disciples and the Titus 2 instruction on letting the older women teach/train the younger women. Women enter a 3-to-12-month relationship with a mentor and commit to one to two meetings per month, where they will be encouraged to live out their faith in the Lord in their daily lives.

Women's Connection Group
Connecting with God and each other

Women's Connection Group is a unique time for women to connect with God and each other. I saw the need for women desiring to go deeper in God's Word but also relationally with one another in authentic community. We believe Hebrews 4:12 that says the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.  We value scripture, dig deep together and when we study and apply God's Word to our lives together in vulnerable community, our lives change.

What happens in our life group? We start our sharing praises with one another ,then we open in prayer, study the book of Galatians together, then we unpack and apply using a handmade workbook with questions tailored to our study, end with prayer requests and praying for each other. We also enjoy cheese and crackers together while we study
