- Genesis 6:2-4 - probably not referring to angels, good or bad

- Job 1:6
- Matthew 4:10
- Luke 10:18
The activity of Satan and demons
A. Satan was the originator of sin on earth
- Genesis 3:1-6
- John 8:44
- 1 John 3:8
B. Demons oppose and try to destroy every work of God apparently in an attempt to retaliate for being kicked out of heaven
- 2 Corinthians 4:4
- Galatians 4:8
C. Yet demons are limited by God’s control and within themselves have only limited power
- Job 1:12; 2:6
- Jude 1:6
- James 4:7
- Have no foreknowledge
- Cannot read people’s minds
- Cannot predict future - can observe and draw conclusions but do not know the future as only God does
