Questions for Personal Reflection/Group Discussion:

1. A.W. Tozer said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” How have you seen your life impacted or influenced by your thoughts about God? Can you give an example of a time when your understanding of God's nature (such as His jealousy or love) directly affected a decision you made or an action you took?

2. God's jealousy is a protective and righteous commitment to His relationship with His people, guarding them against any competing allegiance that would ultimately bring them harm. Can you think of a time when you felt God was exercising loving jealousy over your life? How did you respond? How do you now view his jealousy? 

3. An idol is not just a physical object but anything that becomes an ultimate thing, controlling our lives. What are some modern-day idols that people, including believers, might struggle with? What has been your experience of recognizing and throwing these idols away?
